We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization. This means that every dollar donated goes directly to conserving the natural landscape, views, and wildlife habitat that we all enjoy and is fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The CARES Act allows you to deduct up to $300 in charitable cash contributions for single filers ($600 for married couples) to qualified charities like MHCT if you take the standard deduction.
For those who itemize their deductions, the law allows for cash contributions to qualified charities like MHCT to be deducted up to 100% of your adjusted gross income.
